Introduction	I consider myself to be a Medical Sociologist and am currently working on my PhD exploring knowledge transfer in healthcare. I have a BA in sociology where my dissertation focused on the social construction of anorexia. My MA is in Research Methods and the focus of my study here was vaccine resistance in the media. I've worked as a research intern on projects on the use of language in newspaper based cord blood banking articles, and informed consent in blood transfusions.
