Introduction	Born and raised in Newark, Oscar S. James II is a son of Newark and has remained in the city his whole life. He has spent his adult and professional life focused on strengthening the voice of ALL Newark residents, publicly questioning inequity that generations of Newarkers have been forced to overcome, and uniting the city’s neighborhoods against corruption, lies, and hate. Oscar was the youngest elected municipal council member in the history of city of Newark. He is real estate developer focused on providing affordable housing in Newark and a community activist who passions include three core areas - faith, education, and equity for all. Most of all, he is a father of three children who attend Newark Public Schools. I am far from being a perfect man, but create this platform because I love Newark with all my heart and hope this can ignite necessary, needed, and honest discussion on specific issues heard within our communities, but ignored in City Hall and within Public School System.
