IntroductionAllow me to elaborate: I am a scrap booker from way back. I love to make memories. I am now officially retired. I used to work at a private Christian school where I was the official memory keeper, I taught students how to capture their memories through photography and writing and put them together in their yearbook. I also taught them all how to worship God in my Music Ministry class. I loved my students...still, not as much as I love my own kids and my grandkids! I am an Oma. That is the best part of my life. I have a wonderful Pastor/Teacher retired military husband who loves me very much; he must because he puts up with A LOT! I am a sister, (the oldest), a mother, a friend and a wife. I wear many hats, and I like that. I lead worship with my son and my sister for our little church where my husband is the Senior Pastor and my son is his Associate. My youngest daughter is married with two beautiful step-daughters and a baby girl of her own. My middle daughter is also married with a little girl and one more child on the way. My son is married and has three beautiful children. I love my life...it is a rich tapestry filled with many colors and textures.
InterestsI am WAY into scrapbooking, I love to sing especially worship, I make my own greeting cards, I love spending time with my kids and grandkids and my friends (I have many), I love old movies and coffee. Oh yeah...and chocolate. mmmm...chocolate.
Favorite moviesOh now, this is going to be difficult! WAY too many to even mention here, let's just say I am a movie FIEND, and you may find me quoting many from many of my absolute fave's!
Favorite musicWell, I am very eclectic when it comes to music. I am in love with music. From Country to Opera. As you can see by my blog site, I love Carol King. And James Taylor. And...the Beatles, Josh Turner, Josh Groben (I put him here for my bestest friend ever), Aerosmith, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Kristy Starling, The Martins, Babbie Mason, Helen Baylor, Chicago, Pavarotti, and the list goes on and on...which reminds me, I love Celine!
Favorite booksNow this is a whole different venue for me. Not much of a reader, I get distracted quite easily. I had a couple of fave books as a grade schooler: "The Pink Dress" and "A Wrinkle in Time". I also liked "Piercing the Darkness" and "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti. I do like Bible Studies, especially by Beth Moore. Maybe now that I am officially retired, I will read more...maybe.

Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
