| Introduction | I'm a full-time student, part-time driving instructor, maid, secretary, messenger, counselor, and head dish washer. The pay is ridiculous but the benefits are worth all the effort. I am raising a PG rated family in a R rated world. I spend my time shielding my kids from the bad things while still trying to let them experience other things that life offers so they can grow up to be good little menches. |
| Interests | Irritating teenagers is an interest I love to pursue. Things like leaving notes in their lunches, hugging them in front of their friends or any other activity that embarrasses them usually brings me joy and personal satisfaction. |
| Favorite movies | Elf, Elf, and more Elf, Strange Brew, Jane Eyre -- Masterpiece theater version, The Secret Garden, What About Bob, Man from Snowy River, Prince of Egypt, The Ringer (edited of course) & Princess Bride. |
| Favorite music | The teenager is usually in charge of all music around here, but when I do get to choose I love to make my kids listen to classical music. They have to participate by telling me what musical instruments they can hear, oh I'm so being sent to a rest home when I'm old. Our Wicked CD has been stuck in our car's CD player for the past three years so I listen to it a lot -- mostly just to irritate my passengers haha. |
| Favorite books | Jane Eyre (insert sigh), Princess Academy, Fablehaven, anything by Jane Austen, Children of the Promise, Hunger Games happens the be my latest book addiction and of course the Book of Mormon. :) |
