| Introduction | Yvonne Blackwood is the author of "Into Africa a Personal Journey", "Will That Be Cash or’ Cuffs" and "Into Africa: The Return", released November 2009. She is also a columnist and has written for magazines and newspapers including the Toronto Star. She has published several short stories and was the winner of the millennium short story contest held by the Canadian Author’s Association in 2000. She is a contributor to a new exciting anthology – "Canadian Voices". Yvonne is a dynamic speaker and a retired career banker. Born in Jamaica, she immigrated to Canada in 1976. She studied at the University of Technology, Jamaica and Ryerson University. She has two children and two grand children. She lives in Toronto |
