Introduction God is not finished with me yet, thankfully! I'm thankful for every blessing God has given me, and I'm thankful for everything He is teaching me! I love God and my family...my husband, our children and our grandson. I love our church and all of our friends, too! God is good!
Interests Teaching ESL, writing, illustrating, acquiring wisdom, reading the Bible, learning new things, playing clarinet and piano, singing, oil painting, and reading.
Favorite Movies I love Sleepless in Seattle, Meet the Parents, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Almost anything with Meryl Streep in it (except Bridges Over Madison County), and old Doris Day movies I love really funny movies, as long as they aren't vulgar.
Favorite Music acapella singing/classic and contemporary praise and worship, classical music, Mozart is my favorite composer to play on clarinet, Chopin and Beethoven on the piano. Michael W Smith, Toby Mac, Stephen Curtis Chapman are my favorite Praise singers I'm open to most types of music.
Favorite Books Anything written by Anne Tyler, especially Accidental Tourist and St.Maybe, anything written by Nicholas Sparks, especially 3 Weeks with my Brother and The Wedding, I'm starting to like Jodi Piccoult, too, Beth Moore's Breaking Free and Praying the Scriptures, Max Lucado's A Love Worth Giving, and Stephen Arterburn's Lose it For Life series and recently Ravi Zacharias books. Right now I'm reading Beyond Faith

The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:

There lived a very vain frog, who did not like being bald. So the insecure and very vain frog snipped a piece of a pony's tail and fashioned it into a blonde wig! However, the pony was very proud of her tail, and she became extremely angry with the vain, insecure, bald frog with a blonde wig! So she squashed him. And the vain frog discovered that blondes do NOT have more fun!
