| Introduction | After 15 years as a guard in a maximum security prison followed by time spent running group homes, in 2001 Darrell founded and spent the next 15 years working with marginalized youth while focusing on weight training and nutrition to maintain his health. Susan was told at age 19 that if she didn’t have children right away she would not have any so her focus turned to having her two children. After 9 years of homeschooling she turned to working as Director of Transportation for School Bussing. In 2013 when they met in Kindersley, SK, they were both ready to begin to focus on themselves and a relationship. Now they share their experiences of life, marriage and divorce, work, entrepreneurship, travel, mistakes and triumphs. |
