| Introduction | I am a retired educator who lives in the northern foothills of the Adirondacks. Seems like I'm busier now than before I retired. I enjoy hunting, fishing, genealogy, doing historical research and writing, along with weaving and woodworking while running my business; Adirondack Baskets and Heritage Designs (www.adkbaskets.com). I have begun this blog as a place to post information about the family history I am writing. In addition, I will be posting entries on Chateaugay history. I am currently writing a 2 vol. history of Chateaugay and will post segments of that manuscript here as well. I hope visitors will find my musings and research informative and entertaining. |
