Introduction Have had a few adventures: lived with a tribe in Papua New Guinea, lived in England for over a year, survived a plane catching on fire, love to read and write. Can speak in conversational Spanish. Loved my two trips to Colombia and also visiting Brazil and Chile. Have a husband, three married adult daughters, five grandsons and two granddaughters. I have translated 10 books ( five novels and the rest personal accounts) from Spanish to English for Colombian, Chilean and Mexican authors/friends. Am currently translating a non fiction account of Christopher Columbus' discovery of the Americas ( a challenging version) When I was 11 I broke the South Australian state record at the time by swimming half a mile in the shortest time. I have travelled to New Zealand, England, Wales, Scotland, Guernsey, France (Paris),Greece, Turkey,Italy, Germany, Austria,, US, Canada, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, New Caledonia,,Fiji, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Singapore, Indonesia (Bali), Cambodia., The Cook Islands and Tonga.

Favorite Movies Cinema Paradiso, Sampson and Delilah; Rabbit Proof Fence (for the cinematography), most of Woody Allen's films - particularly "Blue Jasmin", The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, "The Crows Eggs", "Eye In The Sky' and many more.
