IntroductionI am an Indian American (not the Native American type -- no feather in my hair because to be honest, I don't have much hair remaining =)). I love to write and have two books published. My third one, "Joshua's Touch" (deals with the supernatural, CIA, betrayal, friendship, and revenge), is soon to be published. My book "Moments in Life", is a collection of short stories that deals with cultural issues, horror, love, profiling in America, arranged marriages in India, etc. It's a hodge-podge of stories, and that makes it a book for everyone. =). I also love to write non-fictions on any subject under the sun -- the state of our economy, gun-control, immigration -- you name it. I received my PhD at the age of 50 and have worked as a psychometrician/research scientist since then. Besides writng, I also paint. I have a few of my paintings sold across the globe -- in India, Greece, and in the U.S. I am open to most thoughts and ideas, and even though I‘m on the cuss of being an atheist, I value your thoughts and beliefs on religion, politics, or any other topic that you would like to talk about.

Favorite moviesI don't watch movies very often, although I like watching TV (sitcoms, HBO, Showtime, etc). The last movie, I saw was Argo. I liked it.
Favorite musicI like most everything except Rap. To be candid, however, I'm a bit old-fashioned with my music.
Favorite booksRecently I read Shawn Howen's book on Native Americans and loved it. Shawn is my editor for” Joshua's Touch”. She is fantastic, and I have learnt a lot from her. I used to read a lot at one time. Nowadays, I seldom have the time. I also don't like to read when I am writing as I tend to diverse from my language to someone else's. =) I do love mysteries, thrillers, paranormal (yes, including vampires =)), wizardry, science fiction, etc. I love books that are perceptive of human emotions. Now that I have the time, I hope to cut down on my scientific reading and devote a bit more time in reading fictions.
