About me

Introduction	I am a 26 year old graduate student at GMU. I am currently in my 2nd year of the part-time IDD program. This past summer I interned with the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia, serving mainly as the New Media Coordinator, and also helping with the implementation of online training materials. In September, I began working for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as an instructional designer. I have really enjoyed my time here, as it has been my first professional exposure to instructional design. I have had the chance to work on many different projects and have experienced nearly every phase of the design process. In my free time, I continue to enjoy music and have also become a very accomplished cook. Cooking is my favorite hobby, especially cooking for friends and family, followed by eating large amounts of whatever I have just cooked. When I have the time and money, I plan on traveling to many countries and eating everything these places have to offer. Until then, I'll finish school and continue working towards an exciting field in instructional design.
