About me

Introduction	I attended Purdue University in W. Lafayette, Ind. and received a BS degree in Industrial Management. After graduating, I worked in North Carolina as a Plant engineer for the textile business. It was a real adjustment working in a plant with 600 women sewing curtains and bedspreads. I left the textile business and moved to Dallas to work for Frito-Lay. My experiences with Frito ranged from starting up field operations, marketing operations, Product Supply, Supply Chain and project management. I also have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. I’ve had many great experiences and accomplishments at Frito while working in a fast-paced environment. I also spent two years working in the Commercial Real estate business selling investment properties. My grandfather was a real handy man and enjoyed growing his orchard and garden. Some of my fondest memories are of helping him tend to his orchard. I have a real love of plants today and enjoy the creative elements of landscape design.
