Introduction	There's really not much to know about me - I'm the sort of fellow who feels most comfortable in jeans and boots. Whenever I'm in a small town and see an old farmer wearing a worn-out, faded old hunting jacket, driving a small tractor down the road to the next field, I think, "That's who I am at heart." If you know one of those old farmers, you probably know most of what there is to know about me. I'm usually up early, love to work outside and have a knack for machinery. I can remodel and repair, and know something about being independent and self sufficient. Being a student of the Gospel of Jesus Christ could be a little incongruous with a description like that, but somehow I manage to be both. I hope this blog encourages others to be a student as well.
Interests	I like camping, boating, dutch oven cooking, and repairing/remodeling things. I enjoy soaking in the beauty of our Utah canyons and rivers and lakes. It's an amazing thing to live in such a beautiful place.
