Introduction	Truth Be Told! is a storytelling forum held on the fourth Friday of each month at the United Parish in Brookline. Admission is by free will donation, with a suggested donation of $5 per person. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity. Truth Be Told! is an opportunity for participants to stand up before an audience of friends and friendly faces to tell a true story without notes. Stories ideally should be prepared beforehand and loosely match the theme of the evening, but participation is encouraged, so if you feel comfortable with your "on-the-fly" method of storytelling, go for it! Each performer will be limited to five minutes to tell their story. Don't be shy! Not only is this a great opportunity to let your inner performer shine, but it's also a fantastic opportunity to learn about others in our community. We would love to have at least 10 performers per show. If you’re interested in performing, please contact us a day ahead of time so we can add your name to the list.
