About me

Gender Female
Occupation nurse anesthetist
Location United States
Introduction I am a CRNA meaning a nurse anesthetist. I put people to sleep for a living...meaning I am basically a gas passer...providing anesthesia. Oh yeah...I also have the rare diagnosis of a unicornuate uterus (different than a bicornuate uterus). We underwent our first IVF after trying everything else and the kitchen sink to get pregnant. Who would have thought it would actually work? But it did and welcomed our miracle daughter home on November 8th, 2008. Born premature and surviving a potentially life threatening vasa previa - she truly is our miracle and we thank God everyday for allowing us to call her our own. We had a bumpy ride with OHSS, bleeding and a complete placenta previa, and an incompetent cervix requiring a surgical cerclage and months of bedrest to follow. But we know how lucky we are. Gotta love that modern science! Now trying to give Brynn a sibling through use of a gestational carrier....wait change that plan....we're going to try after all!
Interests running, ice cream, shopping, puppies, anesthesia, unicornuate uterus
