Introduction	I am an adult student majoring in math with the goal of becoming a teacher. My interest in education started with my children. I volunteered in their school and was soon offered a position as an assistant teacher (basically an aide). I loved that job and kept it for almost 20 years. Important to me are my husband, Don, and my four children, Steven, Brian, Justin, and Emily. Growing up, I was an Air Force brat. We moved a lot and I attended 13 different schools. Mostly I liked school and I was a good student. Other interests of mine are quilting, beadwork, reading mystery novels, and doing math puzzles such as kenken and hitori. I'm also trying to learn to knit, with limited success so far.
