| Introduction | I'm blogging to showcase the Lord. More and more He's making real to me the phenomenon described in Deuteronomy 6: "These words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." The longer I'm a Christian, the more God-focused my world becomes. Everything reminds me of my Savior. When I take walks, but also just in my daily living, His presence seems to pop out from every corner, the way faithful pets and young children follow, just wanting to be together. I sense His nearness and want more of it. I want to reverse the dynamic so that it's me tagging along after Him, not the other way around. |
