| Introduction | Margaret Donaghue Flavin has performed throughout Europe, Japan and the United States as both chamber musician and soloist. She has appeared as soloist with the Shanghai Broadcast Symphony and the Shen Zhen Symphony, China, as well as the Russe State Orchestra, Russe, Bulgaria. Chamber music recitals include Honolulu, Grand Cayman, BWI, London and Paris. Dr Donaghue earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of New Hampshire. She is currently Professor of Clarinet at the University of Miami and has served on the faculties of Central Michigan Unviersity and the University of Connecticut. Dr Donaghue has recorded as soloist and chamber musician on the Centaur, Albany and Altarus labels. |
