| Introduction | My avocation is traveling, but I don't get to do it nearly enough. We spent a week in Mazatlan in March (2011). Strictly R&R--no sight seeing. Very relaxing. We spent five days in Curacao last October, a delightful experience that we would like to repeat. Curacao is lots of fun and quite interesting. We are headed for China in January, 2012. We will be there for six months and then, if we're lucky, we will get to continue on to explore central Asia. In the meantime, we are thinking about another trip for this fall. Easter Island and Turkey have come up on the radar. Turkey is pulling ahead as the preferred destination. Meanwhile, I am working on an article about our escapades in Curacao. I will post something here about that soon. |
