| Introduction | Born in Chinhoyi, Makonde District, Zimbabwe, Bertha Mukodzani trained and qualified as a Primary School Teacher with specialisation in Infant Education. When she is not working on her writing, Bertha works as a full-time Advanced Recovery Nurse at an NHS Foundation Trust in England. She is also employed as a freelancer. Her self-published book 'A Life Steered' is her first novel, and she is currently working on her second novel which she hopes to publish soon. Bertha's articles on various subjects - love, politics, personal development - have been widely published in her local newspapers as well as other resources online. Bertha gives presentations at various conferences around the world, and this includes church and writers' conferences. Bertha also volunteers in the community and takes part in health screening workshops arranged through her local church and loves to attend/support various other charities as well. It is through her passion for writing, her hands-on nursing career as well as helping others in the community that Bertha finds the most pleasure! |
