Introduction My Al and I were married 58 years on April 16th, and have 6 natural and 14 adopted now-adult children, 42 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. I still keep house, cook most of the meals (Al's discovered the kitchen and loves it!), and am a working writer/speaker/teacher/ screenwriter. I love people and I believe all children are not only holy, but are born geniuses; and that our society/culture makes every effort to dumb them down as far and as fast as they can. I'm all for building them up and creating new generations of bright, wholesome, healthy, industrious, curious, respectful, and reverent kids who can't wait to get up in the morning and meet the world face-to-face, eagerly brain-pick their teachers, and excel as future leaders of America and the rest of an all-round better world. That's why I wrote "The Rabbit Handbook."
Interests My Catholic Faith, mine and others' families, friends, writing, of course, research, space travel/ cosmology/the possibility of extraterrestrial life, intelligent and otherwise, organic gardening, heirloom sewing, gourmet cooking, entertaining; teaching, computer/board games, reading almost everything, history, esp. Roman, Greek and medieval history, theology, art, recycling; decorating, holidays, crafts of all kinds, crossword and picture puzzles.
Favorite Movies The Passion of the Christ; Casablanca, Les Miserables, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Silver Chair, etc; The Fugitive, Something the Lord Made (Alan RIckman is superb in everything he works on--and I just LOVE Dr. Vivien Thomas--the actor and esp. the real person, It's a Wonderful Life, (except the idea that humans become angels when they die; they don't--any more than cats become dogs--angels and humans are two different species), The latest Star Trek movies, Outlander, Up, The Fugitive, Mission Impossible in all its iterations, The Princess Bride, Forrest Gump, Avatar, Serenity, The Indiana Jones films, The Fugitive, Driving Miss Daisy, The Help, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Singing in the Rain, Anchors Aweigh, Oceans 11/12, etc, Broken Arrow, and the movie whose name I can't recall, with Ben Gazzara playing Dom Bosco. That was really very good even if they didn't mention 'Grigio.' I'm sure there are many others, but these spring to mind immediately.
Favorite Music Gregorian Chant, classical, soft rock, Italian music, (in fact, just about all ethnic music, if it is authentic and heartfelt), lullabyes, marches, New Orleans jazz (the good stuff), hymns, Andean flutes, and Mannheim Steamroller.
Favorite Books CS Lewis, G.K.Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkein, Louis L'Amour, Fannie Flagg, Agatha Christie, Lloyd C. Douglas, Peter Krefft, Robert Karen PhD, Edna Ferber, Zane Gray, Mike Artell, Evelyn M Byrne, Jeanne Barber, Jean Lauzier, Ken Farmer and Buck Steinke, Mitch Albom, Joe Artell, and of course, she said modestly, Simon Lang.

Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?

Perhaps because strawberry, cherry, cranberry and pomegranate had already appropriated the color red, the person doing the analysis was a guy, and guys like blue. Now I have a couple of questions for you: Does your question mean you think the sky is raspberry-flavored? And, what's that funny little thing I see you smoking?
