| Introduction | My name is Sarah Ebel and I will be traveling from continent to continent on a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship from July 2010 to July 2011. I will be exploring how community-based organizations are implementing environmental education and using community organization in coastal fishing communities to develop a more sustainable way of life. For the next year, I plan to travel to Chile, New Zealand, Indonesia, Tanzania and Scotland to meet new people and learn the ways in which communities are finding solutions to environmental and economic degradation.
