| Introduction | "Just a small town girl, living in a..." oh wait, that's not me, that's just a song. So I am a small town girl, living in a smaller town than I grew-up in, along with my son, my wonderful husband, five chickens, two dogs, some tortoises and a house in constant need of up-keep. I hate when crumbs collect in the silverware drawer, taking out the trash, and those stupid hangnails that wedge themselves between your finger and fingernail. I love sleeping in and waking up to find the kitchen counters have been cleaned, heating the house above the energy star recommendations and spending all day preparing a meal for my friends and family. |
| Interests | eating, cooking, crafting, laughing, loving, sharing, being and perfect participles |
| Favorite movies | Star wars (the original not the new ones), The Princess Bride, The Muppets, The Dark Crystal, okay...anything by Jim Henson, The Goonies, and any sappy movie that can make me teary eyed (I think crying at movies is cathartic) |
| Favorite music | Again, sappy love songs always get me and I am ashamed to say that most of the time my car radio is set to soft rock. But every once in awhile I get the bug to listen to AC/DC, The Boss, The Roots, BEP (original and pop-star version), most monster ballads and I have also been known to pop in a musical soundtrack here and there. Basically if it has a beat or a melody that I can sing/hum along to, I will listen to it |
| Favorite books | The Princess Bride (if you like the movie READ THE BOOK!), Anything by Victor Hugo, A Tale of Two Cities, Pride and Prejudice, The Girl Who...series, I have read Where the Red Fern Grows several times and it still makes me cry, The Lorax never gets old, The giving tree is also another tear jerker for me. He Died with a Falafel in his Hand. Gosh, this is kind of like my music selection, if it has a plot I normally like it. |
What's the earliest you've gotten up to watch cartoons and what did you see?
I honestly don't remember getting up to watch cartoons in the morning, there was too much to do outside on the weekends to waste it in front of a TV
