About me

Introduction Communicator, writer, poet, pet lover, health advocate, and occasional humourist, I am told I am a meta thinker. I feel immeasurable gratitude for awakening each day to exquisitely lovely natural surroundings. Loyal in friendship, no longer so ardent or impulsive in love, I must bear in mind that contentment springs from choosing an uncomplicated life. Iconoclastic since childhood, my core values include fairness, justice and the need to trust one's own intuition. I'm part intellectual radical yet part solitary homebody. Fresh air, green vistas, serenity, and the privacy and beauty which pastoral living, nature and art provide are indispensable to my well being. Invigorating conversation, enduring friendships, and freedom of thought are like oxygen. As for the inherent risks of describing one's idea of one's self in a blog profile, the catch here is that self absorption is already a growing epidemic as it is, and blog enabled narcissism may be becoming the modern Tower of Babel. Just imagine how any therapy support group for self absorbed narcissists would operate. For instance, who would speak first, Me....or Me?
