| Interests | I have been an artist all of my life, as far back as I can remember I always had a crayon in my hand! I made paper dolls and designed clothes for them. I remember as a child I would spend hours pouring over magazines, clipping recipes and pictures of the food, and pasting them into scrapbooks. An avid recipe book collector, call me a culinary artist...I love to cook! Various forms of art have been a part of my life at one time or another, including sewing, knitting, crocheting, print and paper making, drawing, painting, ceramics, bronze sculpture, Raku, collage, encaustic art on canvas and altered art. And I have been known to write a poem or two from time to time! |

| Favorite books | Murder mystery, suspense, I love James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark....when I can find time to read anything besides all of my craft books. My favorites are Somerset Studios MANY publications which I love, especially "Artful Blogging"! |
