I am interested in Astronomy, Golf. Law, and fighting injustice, given a PCN last year, the council rejected my appeal, I decided to investigate why the council would reject genuine mitigating circumstances, my knee collapsed and I found it hard to get back to my car, 5 minutes late, the P.A gave me a PCN, just following orders but so was Hitlers Henchmen and we know what happened to them for following orders, they ended up on the end of a jute rope for just doing their job, anyway I appealed at the Informal stage, they rejected them, they reject about 95% of informal representations, some try to blag the Council to get out of paying, this is why they reject so many, they all get tarred with the same brush. 1% go to appeal, of those that attend 63% win, of the 250, 000 PCN's issued to motorists, had they gone to appeal then 157, 500 would have won their appeal, if everyone had appealed, the system would have gone into meltdown, so appeal, appeal, appeal, Bolton Council pay approx 60p to the adjudication service for every Penalty Charge Notice issued and the Council have to pay a further £10 for each appeal, they are unconcerned because every week the income from penalty charges is around £40, 000 most of it taken unlawfully. My aim is to force the Council to make their Parking regime comply with the laws, make them more Just, Fair, Accountable, and more Transparent. |
