Introduction	I live in the Scottish Borders, and have done for some 30 years. I am now retired, but previously worked in management roles across the private, public and voluntary sectors. While I was born in England, Scotland has for so long been my home that I think of myself as both Scottish and British. While for most of my life I have not been involved in politics, that all changed when I realised during the 2014 referendum campaign that the SNP government would stop at nothing to get its way in breaking-up our country. There are arguments for and against Scottish independence, but I do not agree that dividing people, at now of all times, makes sense given how we have all lived and depended upon each other for so many generations.
