Introduction	As in 'interests', I've started these blogs because I want to help improve the way we live, in the so-called global village. That doesn't mean accepting what vast corporations and their lobbyists say is good for us, especially in terms of how we grow our food, how we plan for the rise in global populations, how we treat people - and wildlife - less fortunate than us.
Interests	Environmental activism, Radical rethinking about global agriculture, Saving the planet so that it works for the majority, instead of serving the financial interests of the powerful few, Understanding 'backward' cultures not for sentimental reasons but because they often have far more to give us than we realise.
