Introduction	Summer 2009 I traveled across the country speaking at dinner tables, cafés, churches (anywhere that would have me) on behalf of Sojourners to spread awareness of the situation many immigrants seeking asylum find themselves experiencing when they come to my country. This is a summer on the road: Cycling, sharing, laughing, sleeping, coffee, fruit, pictures, culture, understanding, theology, pilgrimage, liberation, elk nuts, the new and unknown.
