| Introduction | My name is Jim Hall. I'm in the final stage of a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Visual Arts which I enrolled in after I retired. My main photographic interests are street photography and landscape photography. For this exhibition, I chose digital images from a trip I made to Nepal for a month in 2023. The cyanotype prints I made are mostly from rural Nepal where I participated in a 2 week camping trek with 6 other Canadians, supported by a group of guides, cooks and porters. We passed through a number of villages and with guides interpreting for us we were able to speak with the the villagers and learn a little about their way of life. It was a very memorable trip and the people I met, depicted in the cyanotype prints, made a lasting impression on me. |
