| Introduction | I am a student at ACC working towards obtaining a BA in Education...my goal is to teach 1st grade. Not only am I a student, I'm a wife, mother,daughter, sister, aunt, Project Supervisor,CheerMom, etc...I think you get the picture. I'm vastly interested in politics, which is new...I didn't really care or pay much attention until Barak Obama announced his candidacy for Presidency on February 10, 2007. Sure, I voted in the national elections every 4 years, but I just didn't understand what it all meant. Now that I'm a mother of a beautiful 6.5yr old daughter, a homeowner, and a tax-payer, I have a deeper concern for issues that affect my family...and pocketbook! As the infamous Beyonce said, "to the left, to the left..." I find myself hanging more to the Left. I love and fully support our President, Barak Obama, and I absolutely love Texas (born & raised baby)! I'm looking forward to getting a better understanding of how the Texas government works and what it does for me. Hopefully you will enjoy my thoughts on issues I post in my Blog.
