Introduction I've worked in the book industry for over 25 years. More than half of my career has been on the publishing side of the fence, the other as Publisher Relations & Marketing Communications Manager for ANZ's leading library supplier. I have a degree in Communications from what is now Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. Rachael's Ramble was my first blog experience and it was about ebooks and the e-reading experience in Australia. A Love of Venice is my second blog which I started in June 2010 to share my 4th and 5th trips to Venice (my favourite place in the world). I also started a third blog, a General Ramble, about whatever takes my fancy. Needless to say I barely put anything on that! And there's probably a few other things hanging around in Googleland. For those interested in my photography I'm on Flickr as RachaelMc. For those in the publishing industry, you can find me on LinkedIn. And for everything else, I'm also on Twitter. I still can't believe I did that either - I never thought I'd blog let alone tweet!!! Ah, life is a wonderful thing is it not? You can follow me on Twitter at @RJMcDiarmid If all else fails - just Google me.
