Introduction	My name is Jackie, but all of my friends just call me 'Jak'. I'm a huge animal lover. I'm 'owned' by my two rescue dogs - Duke (a Boxer) and Sparky (a Jack Russell Terrorist, ummm, I mean TERRIER). I donate much of my free time to local animal shelters & rescues, taking photos of homeless pets in hopes that better pictures of them will give them a better chance at finding a loving 'fur-ever' home. I donate a percentage of the profits from my animal pictures to the dog shelter where I do most of my volunteer work. I picked up my first camera when I was a child attending 4-H camp. I fell in love and have been taking pictures ever since. I strive to find the beauty in things that are often overlooked in our daily lives.
