Introduction	I am saddened by the constant partisanship of this country. It is so constant that I have gotten rid of my tv and turned from mainstream media to avoid it. We have to put aside our red and blue state differences, and find a middle ground if we are to live peacefully and without the stress of constantly defending our positions. We have to listen as well as talk and find the positions upon which we can all agree. They are there if we look hard enough and are willing to listen.
