Introduction	Externally this will mean the restoration of the original fine bow windows and doors, the cleaning and illumination of the façade, restoring the original granite steps. The restored building will have a significant visual impact on Lower Gardiner Street. Internally the original ceilings and doors will be restored. The main auditorium will be on the first floor, a splendid room of grand proportions (100'x60') with fine bow windows, and the unsightly pillars will be removed. It will host the principal worship services, arts events, festivals and exhibitions. The ground floor will accommodate meeting and administrative rooms, reception area, kitchen, and new toilet areas. The basement will be restored for youth and other café-style activities and a new internal staircase added. The adjoining Victorian house and rere building will faciliate children's ministry, counselling, training, public lectures, arts, life-restoring activities, prayer spaces, a library and resource areas.
