IntroductionMoved to South Florida at age seven with family in summer of 1968, growing-up in North Miami Beach, mostly south of 163rd Street Shopping Center. Attended Sabal Palm Elem. for one year and and then Fulford Elementary, J.F.K. Junior High and North Miami Beach Senior High School, Class of 1979. Constantly visited all points of interest and amusement in all of Dade and southern Broward County, so I still recall places that no longer exist that were once important landmarks for residents and vistors alike. Left N.M.B. in August of 1979 for the rolling hills and Hoosier Cream & Crimson of Indiana University, Bloomington. Born in San Antonio, later moved to Memphis, then South Florida. After college, lived in Chicago, Evanston and Wilmette, IL; Washington, D.C. and Arlington County, Virgina. I've always been interested in Transportation Policy and Mass Transit, having lived for years near "El" train stations in the Chicago area and Washington Metro train stations, using them almost everyday. My main blog is Hallandale Beach/Hollywood Blog, http://www.hallandalebeachblog.blogspot.com
