| Introduction | Born and raised in Long Island and Westchester, I graduated H.S. at the age of 15. After a few years in NYC at AMDA, I went to the Univ. of Miami and studied Psych / Theater. In 1993, I moved to L A where I started a Mosaic Studio. After spending time as an L A artist, I developed the concept for Art Share L A. A place where low-income people could receive life and employment skills while giving back to the community was the beginning of what now is a large multi-level arts incubator serving the many people of L A. Many of my past skills allowed me the necessary training and insight for creating Art Share and helped me achieve great accomplishments while raising 12 million dollars in just 5 years. President Bill Clinton honored me to receive the Presidents Daily Point of Light Award. After 9/11 I moved back to NY to be with Family and then to Patchogue to help foster a more bohemian artistic community. I was recently named a President for the Patchogue Arts Council and now focus my efforts to develop the GREEN ART FESTIVAL. I have hopes of helping to revitalize Patchogue and surrounding areas through art, diversification and building bridges for communication and understanding. |
