| Introduction | I'm a software developer (C#/.Net pays the bills) from the wilds of New Hampshire. I've got 10 or so years of development under my belt, so I think I've gotten my head at least a little wrapped around what makes projects work and fail (the same insights you'll get from _The Mythical Man-Month_ and _Peopleware_, only with a lot more curse words and a lot less elegance) and have come to the ugly realization that no matter how proper or pretty my code, it takes more than code alone to make software great. With that in mind, I've taken an interest in the business end of software - management, market forces, user uptake, yadda yadda yadda. I like cycling, have a lot of music (that I bought because I'm old), read a bit, play too many video games and recognize that I'm in no sense of the word a raconteur, but I'll be damned if that'll stop me. |
