| Introduction | At dinner one night, my 3 yr old son looked at me, smiled and said, "You're a good cooker mom!" There is something fulfilling about preparing a meal for my family using wholesome REAL ingredients. Now I have been known to use a mix or two now and then, but the more I learn about food additives the more I try to challenge myself to find alternatives. Alternatives my kids will actually eat. I am the proud mother to a 5 yr old girl and a 3 yr old boy. I am lucky both are relatively good eaters. I have heard horror stories of parents fighting their kids to eat. Luckily, I have never had to do this. Still, they would much prefer cake over vegetables. Getting them to eat a healthy balanced diet is something I work very hard at! I would love to share our successes (and failures) to help others feed their families too! Maybe I will get some new ideas in the process as well. Thanks for reading! |
