Introduction I've been a librarian for many years, including stints at OCLC, as a state librarian, director of ALA's Public Library Association, members services director for Ohio Library Association, and director of Fairfield County District Library. I've mentored at several library leadership conferences, written hundreds of short book reviews for Library Journal and Booklist, and enjoy speaking at conferences on all sorts of topics.
Interests My gorgeous talented and understanding wife Joyce and my outrageously wonderful grandchildren, movies, guitar playing, theater (acting or observing), single malt scotch, wine, hardboiled mystery novels, ignoring needed household repairs
