| Introduction | I am an artist, married to the most wonderful human being on the planet, mother of three gorgeously smart and beautiful children, one age 18 years and one 4 years old. Our youngest is an angel in Heaven. I teach art to artists who have developmental disabilities. My older brother, Wally Wojtowicz, has autism as well as ALS. His resilience, love of life, kindness towards others, grace and dignity in the face of the circumstances life has presented him with have been the greatest positive influence in my life. I mean, we all have to get through all of the minutes of all of our days here and some of them are really painful, frustrating, boring, scary or humiliating. But if we can remember to come from a place of love for ourselves and others we will not be defeated by our circumstances. |

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
No. What I am is holding on to the dream state. Or loving being close to my husband and the baby in our cozy bed. Or else dog tired.
