About me

GenderFemale
OccupationFormer teacher; current elected lay Judge.
LocationCorinth, Vermont, United States
IntroductionMy academic background is in education and Political Economy. I have taught everything from first grade through high school and then for many years taught at a variety of community colleges and small four-year colleges. I have mostly taught introductory Economics, American History and Critical Thinking. I became very interested in my family history during graduate school at the University of Virginia. My aunt, Katherine McKeeman Sweeney, had no children. During a visit she took me through a box of photographs and memorabilia explaining who each person was a bit of their stories. She said "What I am gone you can have all of this." Thanks to my sister Louise for retrieving many of these boxes after my aunt died rather suddenly in Texas. Without Louise's heroic drive down to Ft. Worth, I never would have ended up with so much.
