| Introduction | Carol Ann Schlauch Rasmussen grew up in Missoula Montana, marrried mining engineer David Rasmussen, raised her family while following her husband to his different job sites. They have lived in Chile, South America,, Colorado, Virginia, New Mexico, Montana and Nevada. She draws many of her works of art from memories of the different places they have traveled. While visiting in North Carolina she discovered Alcohol Ink painting on Yupo paper, brought them back to Colorado and introduced them to the area. She has continued to develop her own methods of controlling the ink and teaching her discoveries. |
