| Introduction | I'm an attorney and accountant (if its possible to be both). I am going on the road with my husband, who is a traveling union electrician. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but I'm trying to get over that, as my husband is great at calming me down and helping me to appreciate and enjoy life more. |
| Interests | Cooking, writing, snow skiing, traveling, hiking, jet skiing, antiquing, barbecues, wine dinners, (all of which are best enjoyed with my husband, Grizzly), and spending time with all my family and friends |
| Favorite movies | Hmm...I like old and classic scary movies, so "The Shining" is up there, and some not so scary movies I like would be "Peggy Sue Got Married", "Baby Boom", "Wuthering Heights", "The Blind Side", and "Frequency". Oh, and "Mr. Mom". |
| Favorite music | Everything. I play piano and love classical composers of the Romantic period like Chopin, I love classic country (thanks to my husband), and I like pop/rock, and 70s classic rock (Fleetwood Mac, Bread, ELO, BeeGees). My husband has taught me to enjoy meaningful lyrics in music, so I have learned to appreciate poetic and poignant lyrics more. |
| Favorite books | "Mankiller: A Chief and Her People" by Wilma Mankiller really touched me. I am Cherokee, and love her writing style and her persistence to help others. I also love reading any autobiographical or biographical novel (yes, they seem boring, but not to me). I can't read fiction anymore, although I used to love Stephen King like you would not believe. |
