Introduction	South Dartmoor Community College is an 11-18, co-educational comprehensive school, serving a wide rural catchment area of over 310 square miles of the south eastern corner of the Dartmoor National Park. It includes the country towns of Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Buckfastleigh and Moretonhampstead and many villages: Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Buckland-in-the-Moor, Liverton, Ilsington, Heathfield, Woodland, Scorriton, Manaton and North Bovey. We have approximately 1700 students, including a lively sixth form of around 300.
