Introduction I don't think you can really define a person :). However, if you read my posts and the rest of my info you might get a pretty good idea.
Interests My interests include (but aren't limited to) reading, talking (a lot), writing (badly), debating (Especially about politics, human rights, or international affairs), and I don't know if this is an interest really, but thinking (pretty much about everything there is from why butterflies are so colorful to the principles behind Machiavelli's The Prince).
Favorite Movies There are way too many to write so I'll give you a general overview, (most classics especially the black and white ones), including, Casablanca, North by Northwest, To Catch a Thief, Roman Holiday etc... Movies that cover issues in the world, Schindler's List, The pianist, Hotel Rwanda, The Constant Gardener, Philadelphia (all-time favorite), this list could go on forever. Just feel good romantic comedies like: Sleepless in Seatle, You've Got Mail, There's Something About Mary, 50 First Dates, and Just Like Heaven. My fair share of Bollywood and Kollywood movies...Bollywood: Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer Zaara, Mission Kashmir, Swades. Kollywood: Kannathil Muthamittal, Ayitha Ezhuthu, Azhagi, Devar Maghan, Kadhal.
Favorite Music I like and appreciate all types of music, I think that all music has a place. I'll admit however that i prefer soft rock, and alternative music, and some hip hop. Some of my favorite musicians include: Mika, The Arctic Monkeys, Julieta Venegas, Juanes, Hellogoodbye, Maroon 5, Sage Francis. I also enjoy a lot of Hispanic music, not restricted to the two hispanic artists I listed above. And being Indian, I have to admit to listening to all the latest Bollywood and Kollywood (because I'm tamil) music.
Favorite Books Oh wow this list would seriously go on forever so I'll try and keep it as short as possible, I will limit it to 10. The Prince, Flowers for Algernon, Life of Pi, The Republic, The Fountainhead, The Alchemist, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Satanic Verses, and Ponniyin Selvan, The Sound and The Fury, Fahrenheit 451, Looking Backwards, 1985, Brave New World. I think I went a bit over 10 :( but I couldn't restrain myself. And a bit more, I also enjoy books by Kalki (tamil author), and the translated works of many Bengali authors such as Tagore, Sharat Chandra etc..

What do you see when you close your eyes? (other than the back of your eyelids) I chose this as my question, because everytime I close my eyes, I see home. My old house in Chennai, it represents many things important to me. My family, my country, my city, my people, my childhood, and my memories.
