Introduction2010: I love life. I'm pursuing further studies in the field of Commerce, Finance and Taxation. Can get really nerdy n serious at times.... but otherwise am total fun loving and can joke about any topic under the sun.... rightfully giving me my titles of Miss.Umang, Nautanki, Miss Colgate, Miss NM, Hasmukhlal and the like....the latest one being added to the list is lukhi.... 2016: Now successfully a Manager at one of the Big 4 consultancy firms. Given too many opinions in the field of Transfer Pricing. In personal life, still a kid who is nothing short of burden on the husband's shoulders. Extremely content and happy with our life. Get shopping urges too often (possibly that is one department I will possibly never be content in)
Interests2010: Acting(nautanki...), dancing( me a trained classical dancer... learnt Bharatnatyam and Odissi....wanna learn Kathak....., love all forms of Indian Folk Dance, speciqally Gujarati Garbas and Rajsthani Ghumars..... also appreciate jive, ball room dance and other forms of duet dance), singing(only to myself), reading novels and classics....im also a lot into debates, extempores, compering for events(Umang has been the best experience), personality contests, elocutions, GDs and JAM sessions(these are my all time favourite) else also love acting in plays and skits.... already acted in a few professional plays... 2016: I still have the urge to learn Kathak, still love nautanki, Happily married and totally content with life.
Favorite movies2010: Lots.....not a big time moviebuff and not the "first day first show" fan, but enjoy watching them.... can watch the same movie over a dozen times if its good..... 2016: Husband is a moviebuff beyond explanation. For the past 3 years, we would have caught up on atleast 2 movies every week, and I have sort of started enjoying it.. well that makes me well aware of movies that are crappy - though I, in most cases, am well aware about it long before I actually waste my time and money behind it. One thing that hasn't changed over the years - My all time favourite still remains to be "PS, I love you" PS: PS, I love you (PS are my husband's initials)
Favorite music2010: Nothing in specific... though prefer soft rock and almost all contemporary Hindi songs..... among the new songs and albums, a few selected ones. 2016: Love love love Indian semi classical music on one hand and on the other, love the absurd PPAP type songs (does that count as music ??)
Favorite books2010: all classics and novels,i have a great passion for reading. can read at any hour of the day and can also appreciate a wide variety of topics and authors.... really believe that reading good literature is simply HEAVEN..... i can be locked in room for days together and i wouldn't mind it if given sufficient number of good books to read.....my favorites are Jeffery Archer, Dan Brown, Amitav Ghosh, Jhumpa Lahiri, Malay Chaudhri, Arindam Chaudhary, JKR, Paul Coelho, Robert Kiyoski, Chetan Bhagat, Tagore, Premchand...... and yet sooo many to name........ 2016: I wish I started reading more often...!!!
