| Introduction | A new chapter in our life began around the end of March 2005, as we found out I was pregnant with our daughter, Nadia. Being a mother is still all so new to me. I stay at home now and watch now our little ones grow. Raising them in the knowledge and fear of the Lord is quite challenging; but we know it's worth it. I like baking,dancing, organizing, writing, Pilates, a good Midwestern thunderstorm or tornado, documentaries on foreign countries, meeting people from other countries, the oceans, the mountains, Bourne films, anything remotely European (except offensive things), learning new languages, reading about health, and keeping up with my family out of state. Nonetheless, with all these "things", I realise more and more that time flies and we only get one life. I want mine to count. If I get to DO some stuff along the way, great, but I'm not going to cry if I don't. I do hope to be abroad permanently someday. The abroad, the international, and languages is something ignited within me almost ten years ago when I became a follower of Christ. |
