| Introduction | I am an economist, or rather political economist, working on my PhD at George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA. I've lived in DC since 2000, having moved here from Huntsville, AL, where I grew up. I majored in physics and electrical engineering at The University of the South, in Sewanee, TN and Washington University in St. Louis. This compelled me to work as an engineer for several years, mainly in the defense industry. When I realized I was the only one who found Star Wars boring, I decided to move on. I always liked politics, and have grown to love economics, which has made me hate politics. I should start writing the dissertation sometime this year. It will likely involve religion. |
