| Introduction | I began researching my lineage several years ago. It has been slow, yet I have enjoyed it so much, that even through the frustrations, I have stayed vigilant. When my grandfather, Abraham Adelman,was alive he had the memory of an elephant. He would tell me stories of his travels and friends and yet not one story about family. When I would ask about family, he would always change the subject, and being young and respectful, I did not press the matter. Now that he has passed, and my family has become far more important to me the older I get, I am sorry that I did not "press" the matter. I now want to know the stories of his parents and their parents and where we came from. I wish I had his memory now so that I could record all the un-told stories. This blog and the purpose behind it is dedicated to his "memory" - though un-spoken - I will Link the Offspring of Abraham! |
